Limewire Suddenly Not Connecting I've been using Limewire for several months with XP Pro+SP2 and Sygate Personal Firewall Pro. I'm with Freedom2Surf(UK) on a 512Kbs ADSL using an Origo ASR-8400 router. I used it briefly this morning but I have just rebooted having been out and when I try to connect I can't, the Quality Meter is red and just shows connecting. No settings have been changed. Tried this several times with some effect. I've checked Sygate and this is set to allow Limewire to connect. I have also just installed Gnucleus as a test but that won't connect either. Is this a problem with the Gnutella network or has my ISP blocked access for some reason? Thanks |

Azurues has been flagging up some connection issues of late with links being dropped every so often. It suggest this might be caused by a bug in v1.4 and to update to v1.5 but it wasn't causing me too many problem so didn't think it important. Had downloaded the update but not installed. Strange why Limewire worked OK this morning but not this afternoon. Thanks for your help. |
