gigalo865: Re-install Java using the standalone java installer. Your change has probably occured due to the OSX update. Unless your school has detected your p2p use & decided to block it. Please see: icon bouncing in Dock (click on link)

Ziggi: Remember that IF you forward a port on your modem/router, you MUST have a static ip. Otherwise next time you log on you will have a different ip address & the port will be blocked again. Forwarding a port: http://www.portforward.com/trendnet/...forwarding.htm 3. Firewall setting within LW Please see Force IP instructions & sample image & 2 posts after that.

You 'might' also consider updating to Java 1.5, here: Fixes for Limewire

Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Connections & untick Connect on startup & press the Apply button. Then close LW. Then re-open. Leave it for 15-20 mins. Then go to LW's menu File>Connect & give it a good 20 mins to try to connect. Good luck!
