Tried Everything... Here's the deal... I run XP home on a T1 connection (through school), and I can't connect to gnutella. It's not a firewall problem, since I can't connect even if I turn it completely off. I've tried deleting the ".limewire" folder, worked temporarily. Closed limewire, opened it again, .limewire reappears. Tried unchecking the "connect automatically" box, worked temporarily, not anymore. Tried opening more ports (6346-6349), did nothing. I know it can work since I've been able to connect for long enough to download several songs and albums, but it's not working anymore. HELP!! and thanks |
Hmmm most schools block or filter p2p applications. You can check this link out. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=32882 Doesn't look good though. Best of luck |
Have you tried a proxy?? As fabion said schools are bat for blocking P2P ports |
