Connection problems...

Ok, here's the deal:
Yesterday, I've downloaded LimeWire and couldn't connect... Later, I've been to this forum and readed all the "sticky" ones, and the 6346 config worked... for a while. I got like 20 minutes connected and then it never got connected again =/

I've did all of those things listed, and none got results again. I've called my ISP and they told me that there's no firewall on my PC.
As you can see, I'm desperate xP... So could ANYONE OUT THERE help me please? xD Thx.

Oh, almost forgot... Windows XP with (f**king) SP2, and I've disabled the intern firewall too.

Try the 1st 2 fixes if you haven't tried them yet: Fixes for Limewire

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.

1. Windows XP Professional w/ SP2
2. None besides SP2's one (which I turned off)
3. 512MB DDR 400
4. 7 GB on C: [LW here], more on D:
5. Cable 300kbps
6. COM21 DOXPort Model 1110
7. Home and finally...
8. LimeWire 4.8.1 w/ Java 1.5.0_02

Hope that helps

PLEASE SOMEONE!!

Well, I hope someone answer me this time =/

Here's my situation:
I've checked my ISP to see if it blocks any ports, and they've denied it all. Then, I found this great(?) program on the Internet called PortDetective (www.portdetective.com) and I did a test with it on port 6346... Guess what: Says its opened. Even when I open LimeWire and try to connect, if I scan the port it will say its in use. So my guess it can't be anything about 6346.

My error is that I just can't connect, all i get is a message that says Connecting... and it never connects. Does ANYONE OUT THERE know ANYTHING about this?
