Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() Your test result is very poor news. Your isp provider might be blocking your use of p2p. Try another port. Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls & type another number into the listening port box. Let's try 1245 or 2345 & then press the apply button. Then go to LW's menu File>Disconnect. Wait a minute & then File>Connect & give LW some time to try to connect. It might be wise also to make sure you've got the most recent Java: Java 1.5 (take the JRE) & save to your computer before installing. If the above doesn't work then we might need to look at using a proxy which will take a little effort. |
