'Not gonna re-invent the wheel here, just wantta pass along my
deal. I too had the dreaded red blocks " connecting" blah,blah.
I feel that I have gleaned info from a number of g/members and
say thanks. Heretofore a simple systems restore would bail me out. Now with a s/restore, I would get "Limewire Launcher Error"
LimeWire was unable to load. Please download and install LimeWire again. I danced with it a number of times to no avail, until this evening.
I did ye olde download AGAIN and was informed "you have earlier LimeWire programs running". Anyway, I CLOSED everything
(L/W) in the vicinity, continued with the download and the GODS were on my side. I'm back in the saddle again........GREEN. One member alluded to"different strokes"i.e. different fixes work differently for different people. Ya gotta be careful/discern of all the BS out there. You have MS,AOL,DELL,MAC, whomever all gonna " enhance your system" with the latest and the greatest... ending up trashing LimeWire.
