Angry Way TOO Much Trouble For The $$$

Apparently Gnutella did not troubleshoot this program enough or they just want to make you think that the 'PRO' version for $20.00 will solve your problems. You are an idiot if you purchase anything from them after this disaster of a program! I am now trying to struggle to get my money back from MyMusicInc.com.
FYI:
Win XP Pro
512MB
AMD 1.5mhz
MS Explorer 6.0
Limewire 4.8.1
Java 1.5.0_01
ALL firewalls disabled
Antivirus disabled
Will NOT connect
Have tried ALL above listed recommendations, suggestions, ideas, fixes, etc!
WAY TOO MUCH trouble to get running. STAY AWAY FROM Gnutella programs!!!!!

Well the first thing you should be aware of is this sticky in another forum here. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=28751

It looks like you were scammed and didn't d/l LimeWire from the "official" LimeWire website.

You can d/l the officail basic version for free from here. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

It's not fair to blame a program, when you didn't get it from the official website.

You must also remember this is a forum made up of volunteers. It is not tech support, and has no affiliation with LimeWire LLC. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/announ...php?forumid=22

It would also be helpful if you provided the following information.

Modem type and model no.
Router type and model no.
Connection (Dialup, ADSL,DSL,Cable)
Where are you connecting from (Home,Office,School)
Who your Internet Service Provider is (ISP)

I might suggest 2 others thing uninstall the LW version you have, and d/l and install from the official website from link above.
and update your to the latest version.

Download to your computer install the Java first and LimeWire 2nd

Thank you
