| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

| Hi BigBo If your firewalls are down, which I hope mean disabled. Then it appears your DSL Modem/Router has a bulit in NAT firewall, and is not capable UPnP technology. You may have to forward a port. You will need to locate the modem/router type and model number that you are using. You can then go to this link, which has instructions on how to do this. http://portforward.com/routers.htm You will also need to change your setting in LW tools>options>advanced>firewall config --- to manual port forward. Best of luck You should also configure your firewalls as LOTR suggested and use just one of them. It is not a good idea to leave your computer unprotected without a firewall.
