Wierd Connection Problem
 

I'm using LimeWire 1.4 since June, but after I reinstalled Windows 98, LimeWire doesn't connect to the Gnutella network, not even the limewire servers. I tried reinstalling but that didn't help. Then I tried connecting to Gnutella with another Gnutella program, Gnucleus, which was also unable to connect to the network.

I tried the suggestions in the FAQs and tried manually adding hosts.

I keep reading about Java problems though I don't know how it affects LimeWire.

Any help would be great.

P.S. I tried Morepheus and it was able to connect but I don't think it is a Gnutella program. Thanks.

Have you tried new 1.7 version - a lot of problems were fixed in this :)
