 Hmm, well. I originally disabled XP's firewall, and left a port open for Limewire in McAfee... But I still get the message, and it really doesn't seem to want to connect. SO, Then I Turned off McAfee, and only allowed XP's firewall to run, again dedicating a port specifically for Limewire... No luck. I also turned them both off - No Luck. And it seems like anything I do, I get the same results. This is very annoying, as I have used Limewire in the past. Maybe the newer version I downloaded was corrupted? Or bugged? Hmmph. Here are stats for cpu: 3.2ghz p4ht 512mb ram 56k ethernet card So I just don't get it. HELP. Anymore suggestions? Last edited by SoCoNFuSe:D; June 13th, 2005 at 05:29 PM.  |
