cant not connect
 
wondows xp home sp2 2002
intel celron m 1.30ghz
224 ram

windows firewall disabled
i dont have norton
i dont have macfee
i have limewire pro 4.8.1
i have a belkin wireless router modl f5d7230-4
i have the ports forwarded a=i have deleted lw preferences
i clicked the link that test your your ports threw the router] it was sucessful

i have connection to the internet

but somtimes limewire says i havnt got a active conection when im useing the internet

my isp is not blocking my port 6346

i try the proxy it dont connect ethier

i cannot connect to the gnutella network

do you think they have server issues do you think thier severs firewall is blocking me

i have other ips trying to connect to differnt ports on my router
do you need to see the log?

ive try redownloading the pro version ive tried useing the basic verison nethier will connect and this is not just happing on this pc it happend on my other one at this same time nethier will connect

there was a outage of lan in parts of town but im guessing by getting no response that that was a stupid question

When you open LW give it some time (perhaps 20 mins to an hr) to connect. Don't do anything with LW over this time.

Do you use any other p2p share programs? Do you use the Resume/Find sources on all your files? These 2 things might affect LW's connection to the network. (By the way the Gnutella network doesn't work thru a central server.)

So it's only sometimes?
If you use the Resume/Find Sources button don't use it on all your incompletes or else it can affect your LW connection quality. If you use it, use it only on one or a couple simultaneously.
