has anyone found a definite solution to the Cox problem in Arkansas? I get the 'connecting' status that never moves forward. I have found it's because Cox is selectivley blocking users in Arkansas. Anyone working on this? Changing isp's is not an option for me.

Yes your observation seems to back up what we've found. See ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire The only answer we can think of is to try a proxy. But proxies can take time to set up & you may need to try out quite a few proxy numbers before you find one that works. Or even try different types of proxies. See these links:
