Connection Problems Please Help

Below is the everything I know about my browser and computer that would be messing up limewire:

-Windows Version: Windows 98 SE
-Windows Media Version: Version 9
-I Do Not Have Sound So I Put Music Onto My MP3 Player
-SBC Yahoo! Browser
Product Version: 2003.10.31.08
SBC Yahoo! DSL Version 6.00-ADSX
-I Am Not Sure About Any Firewalls
-I Have A Pop Up Blocker But I Can Turn It Off
-I Have McAfee VShield
-Not Sure If I Use A Registy Cleaner
-SBC Yahoo! DSL For Internet
-DSL Connection
-No Accelerator Known

When I open Limewire It closes right away. It closes completly. I have tried many things but none of them work. I think SBC Yahoo! DSL my be blocking it but Im not sure how to check. If anyone can help me using that little bit of info I gave please post. Like I said everything I know I posted up there. If you have any questions feel free to ask Ill answer them the best I can.
