darrenr34 is flying high
Default the PC goes slow when LW opened

when ever limewire is turned on, on start up my computer goes really slow but is as fast as ever when limewire is turned off. For example when im on the net it will take around a minute or two for a page to fully open, but with limewore off it will take seconds, this is with broadband

I don't know if this is meant to happen but can someone give a solution to this problem please.

The next LW will improve upon this (already the beta is much better!)

Some tips:
* After opening LW wait 10 to 20 mins or longer before using. Let it settle down 1st.
* Set both uplds & downlds to autoclear.
* Close all LW windows you don't need open at that time.
* If you're not in front of your comp, then hide LW in the tray.
* Reduce uplds to about 70-80% or more. Reduce downlds to 80 or 90%. (Tools>Options>Downlds/Uplds>Basic)
* Don't use the Resume button on all incomplete files. This can have side-fx such as affect LW's connection quality. May queue your files for much much longer. This will also stress LW & your comp. If you use Resume/Find sources then just apply it to a couple or so at one time.
* Downld tips: To continue files downlding (click on link)
