Connection / Download 0 speed I'm not sure if my problem is a connection one or a download one. I've been trying to download a movie, either .avi or .mpg. I get to the stage where it says 'downloading from 1 host ( sometimes up to 7 hosts) but the speed is always 0 kbs? hope someone can help. Could it be my router and it's firewall? it's a billion router. It's frustrating because I used to get good speeds before I purchased LW Pro. Kind regards Tayshia |
It could be just the particular hosts. Keep in mind some p2p share programs like Shareaza (raza) are reknown as slow uplders. Try searching the topic again to see if you can find it. The one you're downlding from will have an open manila folder type of icon next to it (with a small green arrow.) If you find it in your search results with that icon, then cancel your downld & reselect to downld again. Sometimes this can spruce some life back into the downld. Other than that you can see this: To continue files downlding (click on link) Also, do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If it's false, then it's either a firewall or router/modem that's partially blocking LW's access. Fixing that will help overall if it's an issue. |
