Can't Connect
 

I have used Limewire and WinMx file sharing programs for years now with excellent results. All of a sudden none of them will connect with my Atlanticbb Cable connection,it just says connecting and thats it. I have reinstalled both and that doesn't work. I disabled my router firewall and my software firewall which is just the XP firewall and still can't connect. My laptop can't connect either. My son can connect to Limewire from his home using Verizon Wireless DSL service but can't connect at my place using my Atlanticbb Cable. I called them thinking they may have blocked the ports due to the Supreme Court ruling recently regarding P2P vender's and they said absolutely not. Why else would all of a sudden make me not be able to connect to these programs..and only at my place? Connection is great otherwise.What settings would you look at? I did your suggested fixes at the top of the forum to no avail.
