cant connect
 
hallo,
i´m using a lan with a router(d-link di-604) in it and lw can´t connect. what should i do??
soryy for my bad english, but i´m form austria.

You have a similar router to me except mine is 504g. I believe DI-Link routers do not utilise UpnP & thus you will probably need to forward a port.

It'd help if I knew which operating system you were using. I'd give you different instructions.
This is what you should do:

1. Configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

Port Forwarding:

2. Set up a Static ip. (very important for this to work properly! And you must do this 1st.)

3. Forward port 6346 using the following instructions which also includes a guide to setting up a static ip: http://www.portforward.com/english/r...2/Limewire.htm Remember to click on the static ip link because you must do that 1st!!!

4. Within LW: Manual port forward instructions & sample image & 2 posts after that.
