Unable to write a necessary file/ no permissions

I keep getting a popup window message stating " Limewire is unable to write a necessary file because you do not have the necessary permissions"

Can someone please assist me on this one? I have removed Limewire 4.8.1 and have upgraded to the new Beta edition, and the error still persists.
