Still Bad Connection

It's me again!
For the most part I am extremely happy with LW. Lately, however I haven't been getting my turbo connection. I am currently using v.4.8.0. The connection keeps going from poor to excellent and back again.
A little help?!?

Connection problems

I don't have problems connecting, but download speed. Usually I can download several songs at one time and get fast results. However, here lately, it takes forever for just one song. Then, I end up giving up on the downloading. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I have a cable modem.
