What's normal, what's not?
 

I'm trying to use limewire for the first time, without much success as of yet. I can't seem to make a connection with other users, but I'm not sure what is the problem. In my connections windows, I can see the program trying to find people to connect to. But one by one they fall off the list until there is none and the program continues to look for more people to connect to. The program never says why it drops people, so I don't know what kind of problem it is having. My problem is that I don't know what is normal, and what is not. I've tried most of the suggestions on this forum, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried testing the port, and it seems to be open. Is there any specific IP address that I can try to connect to? any place to try my connection specific to Limewire? Thanks for any help.
