 Later, I will try to do a restore for at least a week ago (after I get everything backed up). The others didn't seem to apply. As for the screensaver, it doesn't matter if it uses a blank screen for a saver - still the same problem. So far, it seems the only way to not lose the connection is keep the monitor on and the screensaver off altogether, but that's bad for the monitor. Will post again later after I get to try the back up and restore. In the meantime, if any other ideas come to mind, please feel free to share. Would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Edit: Even just turning the power off the monitor manually still causes the same problems. Doesn't make sense...???  Last edited by ctimbers1; July 30th, 2005 at 03:21 PM.  |
