yep, me too. It quits and dies on me when I download. I have never had this problem with previous versions. I thought maybe it was me. Wish I had the old install back. this new version sucks big time. I can stay connected but my download files die after I click on them. I have used this app for a long time, wish they'd leave it alone and stop messing with it. sigh.

It happens to me, when i open it up, it connects and goes strait to exellent then after about 10 minutes, it will slowly decreas to good, fair, then connecting, and then disconnected. But what i do is when it does that i close the window wait a while then open it up again and it'll go strait to exellent again, well it does for me so u try it and see k?

instead of griping and complaining about it, help us about by being a beta tester and posting bugs and stack traces. then we can fix the problems.

most of the problems i have seen on this board were infact caused by something between the keyboard and the chair. ;)

I'm not a newbie thank you very much, maybe to this forum but that's about it. And I'm certainly not a newbie to the web or computers. I've been a faithful limewire user for a long time. I'm geeky enough to know much about a peer to peer network. I do know that without the ability to ping, push or resume a download, the speeds will die. I also know that if users turn off their bandwidth, it makes the speed even slower. We need, ping, push, resume & kill back. Without it, a P2P app is useless. I love limewire. But, sometimes these new installs are just too buggy. Why not leave the program alone? The last install worked and was ten times faster for me than Bearshare. So, please dont call everyone a newbie. I am far from it. Im not a programmer. if I was, I wouldnt be sitting here.

oh edited to add: my keyboard and chair work just fine thanks. That still doesnt solve the problem of the losing the downloads.
