Im having the opposite effect than most of you, whenever I shut Limewire down it just loads back up again and whenever I turn on my comp it loads up even though I have System Startup unchecked

I suspect you have a virus. See LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup

The other alternative is you have it set to close down only after transfers have completed. Check this under Tools>Options>Shutdown.

BTW also worth seeing is WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

Yeah, I'm having the same problem with Limewire. Whenever I start the computer up, Limewire starts also. If I shut it down Limewire, it starts up again. I have everything in options check not to start up. I dont know what to do, I hope someone can help.
