How do i get past a college firewall?
 

I am a student at a major college. I have been trying to use limewire and a firewall has been shutting me down, but this firewall is not my xp, or norton. for many weeks i have been trying every possible fix to get past this mysterious firewall. but recently i found out that its my connection to the internet provided to me by my college that have been stopping me. I know this is the case because some people were using Ares and they recently shut that down. How do i get past this if its even possible at all? Please please help me.

If they decide to block the ports there will be no way to access p2p from inside their network. You would need access to an outside network to use p2p.
