cant connect
 

whenever i try to start limewire it says loading old downloads and stops. when i try to close it, it wont close at all and i have to end process. it was working fine earlier today but its not working now. does anyone know whats wrong?

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

If it still happens after that, use your Add/Remove control panel to uninstall Java. Then re-install it again but this time using the "Offline" Java installer. See link for Java in point #1 of above link.
Your original Java installation might have been corrupt/incomplete.
