Limewire isn't connecting, says i'm behind a firewall

Limewire is telling me that i'm behind a firewall and its not letting me connect or do anything . The exact message is.....

Limewire is unable to connect to host on the Gnutella network. This is most often due to firewall or content-filtering software blocking access to Gnutella (port 6346). Please review your firewalls options to allow Limewire to access the Gnutella network or speak to your system administrator or ISP to determine if Gnutella traffic is being filtered.

I was able to download whatever I wanted before but then it just went weird like one day. I reformatted my computer incase something icky decided to install itself and since I wiped every thing I've downloaded 4 things.

Msn Messenger 7.0
Azureus
Java JRE (1.5)
Limewire
Goggle toolbar

I don't have any firewalls at all on my computer now and it's doing the same thing as before. When I test port 6881 on azureus it also tells me i have a Nat error. Please somebody help ?

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)?
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?

NAT errors have been suddenly popping up all over the net...I think ISPs are starting to block default ports of p2p apps...

try changing the port to something totally different...like 455xx (insert numbers for the x's)

It sounds like the problem is the bridge Speedstream. I can only find minimal information about it.

Port 6346 is being blocked by something (as is 6881.)

Try changing LW's listening port to 80. ie: Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls. You may need to relaunch LW after making this change. Other ports to try: 1111, 3500, 4008, 1203, 10000, 15189, 20282, 22817, 443, 34599, 40475, 42628
