eTrust personal firewall, anyone??

Is there anyone here with eTrust personal firewall that is able to connect? Let me give some background:

I have LimeWire 4.9.30 and Windows XP Professional w/ SP2. Up until about 3 weeks ago, my Limewire worked well. I was not using a firewall or any other kind of security at the time, although I attend university and they may have a firewall which is why the firewall icon would appear in the tray (or whatever it's called). However I could still get the Turbo speed without much trouble.

So, 3 weeks ago, I decided to re-format my hard drive. I had a ton of spyware and crap on my computer from years of not using any kind of security whatsoever (including spyware removers) and decided to just start over. I also went out and bought the CA eTrust Internet Security Suite and installed about 5 spyware removers (AdAware SE, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster, Microsoft Anti-spyware,CA Pest Patrol). I know Pest Patrol selects Limewire as Spyware, but I don't let it quarantine it and I haven't really used it because I have so many other spyware programs.

Ever since this re-format and installing these security programs, my LimeWire doesn't work. It oscillates between "starting connection" and "poor connection." I have configured the firewall to the best of my knowledge (there are either green checks or question marks under "access" and "server" for LimeWire AND Java). I went to that firewall/port test website and it said "The test worked!" I even shut down my firewall--nothing. If it worked before without a firewall, I wonder why it doesn't work now. I don't think it's my firewall, but that's the only explanation given on the website for connection problems. I don't think it's my ISP, either, because it worked before I re-formatted and I attend the same university.

I would like to add that my KaZaa lite also would not connect after the re-format. However, I searched around and found that adding some "supernodes" to my registry might fix the problem. I did add the nodes and now it works. Is there a similar solution to LimeWire?

Edit: I tried LimeWire 4.9.37 (latest version), same results.

Edit #2: I did the Shields UP! Port Probe and the test results came back as: Status = Stealth, Protocol and Application = gnutella-svc. So, I thought maybe it is my firewall (because of the "stealth" reading). But, when I shut down my firewall the result is "closed." I'll try changing the port...again. (Because I did that before and it didn't work.)

update

Okay, when I go to http://www3.limewire.com:6346/, it says the test worked whether my firewall is turned on or off. When I go to http://www.grc.com/port_6346.htm , if my firewall is on, it returns "stealth," if my firewall is off it returns "closed" and no matter what port I go to it returns "closed." Something is weird about that, don't you think. Why would one test work and the other one fail. If the port is closed, then why does the first test say "Your test worked!"? And why does every port seem to be closed when my firewall is off. Is it my ISP?

and another question...

What is the point of testing port 6346? My listening port is 32975 and my router configuration is set to use UPnP. The radio button for Manual Port Forward is not selected (though 6346 is in the grayed-out box). When I test using the Shields Up! test on 32975 it says the port is open (and my eTrust firewall is up, by the way). Also the firewall icon on the planet earth in the limewire tray disappeared when I tested my listening port. However, LimeWire still will not connect.

Should I be posting this in one of those massive sticky threads? They scare me.
