Also Can't Connect

I see most of the threads here are about people that can't connect, so I hope this doesn't get overlooked. I've looked through a bunch of these threads, and although very similar, this doesn't seem to be the same exact situation. I've been using LimeWire for awhile now, and it had always worked fine. But it hasn't connected for quite awhile now. Yes, I have been getting the "Your machine does not appear to have an active Internet connection or a firewall is blocking LimeWire..." message, and I only have one little green bar. I do use a router and a firewall, but I always have been and LimeWire had worked fine. I made sure everything was still enabled for LimeWire, and I took my firewall off for awhile, but it still did nothing. I went to the page... http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ and it says " Your test worked!". What else could possibly be the problem? Could it be something with the current version? It's pretty new, and it seems like this has been going on since I got it. Any help is much appreciated.

I get the same exact problem. only one bar. firewall or connection error.

And i did everything possible. Turned off my firewall for a bit. nothing. checking my connection. It was ok. and weird thing is that limewire still works on my other accounts on windows.

Same exact problem here. LW has worked for me for years now, and all of a sudden a few days ago i get this exact problem.

Have either of you tried what Punkprincess suggested. For good measure you could try dissabling Ultrapeer Capabilities in preferences or options> speed, but really if neither of these help you must give us some helpful information about your equipment isp Operating system, type of connection and so on. We can not, with all the will in the world do much without a few facts to start us off:)
