Default It won't let me connect :(
I've had limewire forever and all of a sudden it won't let me connect saying my machine does not have internet connection. Ive tried fixing the Windows firewall and Norton Personal Firewall but nothing has worked. Please help me!

You wouldn't happen to be using optimum online, would you? If so, many people are having this problem, read some of the other recent posts.

I do have optimum online, does that mean I wont be able to use limewire again?!

Someone please help me! if optimimum online is blocking limewire is there any way of getting around it? will any other p2p program work? i miss limewire an awful lot

Try going to options> speed> and click disable/enable ultrapeer capabilities

i got the same problem and thats what worked for me
