Default From Turbo down to Strong Connection?

When I purchased LW 1 year ago, I used to get a connection that came up as Turbo. Now the most I can get is Very Strong. Why the drop in speed? I have changed isp's since my purchase of LW, could that have something to do with it?

Yes, your isp might be filtering/shaping your bandwidth. Some isp's are p2p unfriendly & cap the speeds for those who downld large amounts of data/use lots of bandwidth.

Download a sample magnet link from here: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml
Tell us what speeds you get. And is that anything like your normal internet speed? You can do a normal speed test using one of the nearest test sites from here http://www.t1shopper.com/tools/speedtest/
But if they quote the speed in kbps (kilo bits/sec), then divide it by 8 to find the equivalent in KB/s (Kilo Bytes/sec.) LW shows speeds in KB/s not kbps.

My download speed was 344.6 KB/sec, upload 48.2 KB/sec. After some further research, my isp is one of the "unfriendlys". I have read the post on using a static IP address with my router and using a proxy. I will print out the instructions and give it a try(hopefully very simple instructions - I can use a computer, but making them work is waaay beyond me) . As posted in another thread, my LW download speed (at least for video) is around 2.
