I believe the DI-524 has UPnP abilities. If so, then make sure it's enabled. Log into the DI-524 using http://192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.1 (copy & paste into a fresh window of your brower), & look thru all the options. You should see UPnP (Universal Plug & Play). Tick it & save the change!
If this doesn't do the trick then consider this: 1. Set up a static ip. 2. Forward port 6346 (both 1. & 2 described here: ) Port Forwarding for the Dlink DI-524 (click on link)
