| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 If you use DSL then you'll have a dsl modem or router. So ... look for it ... it will be connected to your computer. It will be in a small box. It should show the brand & model on the top, side or bottom of the unit. Tell us if it's a USB or ethernet version. BTW the new LW preferences for the new version are found in a new location. But I suspect your problem is the modem/router. BTW Norton is fine so long as it's configured properly for LW & you should have such protection, see * Configuring Norton Internet Security  |
