I just got cable internet, and limewire is dectecting a firewall. I've disabled it, I've reconfigured it to allow limewire to be ok to use, I've even followed LimeWire's instructions via the microsoft page in order to allow LimeWire to run via some port. Still nothing works. I even disabled firewall completely, and nothing. Why is this happening and how can I fix it so I can have my 'turbo charged' connection again?

I had the same problem... I linked my 'shortcut' to \LimeWire.JAR

And suddenly, it was turbo charged...

can anyone please help me out here my downloads are so slow i can not figure out how to speed them up and on starting lime wire i have only one connection bar and a firewall is blocking and then i have a full connection and the firewall has gone and then its back to one connection bar and the firewall is back its back and forth like this so please some one help
