I just tried what LonestarSecurity suggested, but it still didn't work. Its still slowing down my computer bad.

You need to include in your next post everything about your current setup.

Motherboard:
CPU
Memory + Timings:
Video Card:
Hard Drive:
Windows Version:

And a list of what is in your current processes.

You can download a utility called Tune-Up Utilities

Once it is installed; run it; don't worry about the trial right now.

Click on Administer & Control Tab (on left)

Click on TuneUp Process Manager

If you hit PrintScreen on your keyboard while that program is open and then include that image in your post we can see what processes may be conflicting with LimeWire. We need more information than "it isn't working" to help you better.

Here are my settings:

Motherboard: DFI LanPartyUT nF4 SLI-DR
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Memory + Timings: OCZ EL DDR PC-4000 / 500MHz / Gold Series I think is what I have. I'm not too sure of the timings.
Video Card: XFX NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT
Hard Drive: Dunno brand. At 127GB 95GB free.
Windows Version: XP

Tune-Up Screens: (Thumbnails, so click them)
