| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.
(not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

 Ok, I have a solution! Leave Java Alone - Do Not Uninstall! Now uninstall LimeWire.... Download This Utility... RegSeeker Do a Windows File Search: Start - Search All Files/Folders Link More Advanced Options Check the box next to "Search Hidden and System Folders" Type LimeWire Click Search Any and all files you find - delete! Now install and run that program I mentioned above. When it is open...click on Find in Registry Type LimeWire Now only delete the registry keys that actually have the word "limewire" in them. You don't neccessarily have to back up before deletion, but you can. After you have done the two things above, restart your computer. Re-download and install LimeWire! If you continue to have problems I have a few more utilities that may help you out. Good Luck!  |
