Leaf vs. Ultrapeer... ?

Sometimes I connect as a leaf, and sometimes I connect as an ultrapeer. I would prefer to always be an ultrapeer, so how do I make myself into an ultrapeer if I am connected as a leaf? I don't like being a leaf...

The leads are weak? You're weak.

You can't make yourself be an ultrapeer. The network decides for itself what it needs. If you have a fast connection with lots of bandwidth you have a better chance of becomming an UP. And your if online for long periods of time that will also increase your chances. I've also read that the newer versions of LW don't need as many UPs.

But being an UP doesnt have any advantage over being a leaf. So just be happy that your connected and are able to download;).
