![]() LW worked until it needed a java update, so, i did that, and since then, it hasn't been able to connect because of a "firewall" that isn't there. I have windows XP and i check the setting there. LimeWire is checked off as an exception to the firewall, but that shouldn't matter because the firewall is off. At the moment, ZoneAlarm is completely shutdown. It does, however, have LW completely trusted as well as java. My router is a 2.4 GHz Cable/DSL Router with 4-port switch and it's made by Network Everywhere Model NWR04B. Im connecting at home, and again, it worked until i updated Java to the newest java, i believe. I have th router connected to 2 computers, both with LW, both experiencing the same problems. I've tried reinstalling, installing new software like Bear Share, or whatever, with no luck. I'm not sure about the ram on the computer, and i believe the amount vaires between the both of them. |
