At a loss to get a connection... I just got a brand new HP Media Center PC....haven't had problems using Limewire before but now I am. I am going through a router, a Linksys Wireless 2.4ghz v. 2, and since I read that the UpNp was unreliable I set up a manual port forward. (I tried using UpNp and the connection was really bad.) I deleted my .limewire file just like was suggested and after I did that it connected and said I was no longer behind any firewalls. Then after about a half an hour of downloading at incredibly slow speeds (I run on a TI) it disconnected and now when I start it back up it says I'm behind a firewall again and has trouble connecting. I live in an apartment complex near my college, that is why I'm on a TI but I didn't have any problems with this before. Any more suggestions would be great. Thanks |
