LW freezes at firewall setup

i downloaded LW basic 4.10.5 and it installed fine. When it is setting up it gets as far as firewall preparation. When i click ok the norton sercurity window pops up and i click always "allow access on all ports". It then freezes my system and I have to restart my computer. I have had no problems with norton sercurity before now. Any suggestions would be great!

I am running a dell demension 3100 P4, windowsXP,
Java J2SE Runtime enviroment 5.0 update 6, and a norton firewall.

I have the windows firewall turned off and have tried most of the thing i've seen on these forums but can't get lw to work. I have also tried to setup norton firewall manualy but it didn't work.

Hi goingup,
Uninstall your Java & reinstall using the 'offline' installer. Instructions here:

Ok, try manually reinstalling Java (seems to work for some people:) ):

Hi birdie, just an update here. I got Lw working today. I had to turn off nortons firewall for a couple of mins, then started LW and let it go thru the setup process. As soon as it was finished norton asked for permission to access the web and everyting worked fine after. Thanks alot for your help, maybe this can help someone else in the same situation.
