connectin problems
 

K, the little firewall globe thingy on the bottom of limewire says it has a fire wall, but i dont know what fire wall it is, i turned off the windows XP one, and im sure thats the problem to it connecting, can someone help?

Make sure you've only got 1 firewall running & that it's set up for LW to work. If your router uses UPnP, turn it on in the router & within LW (tools > options > advanced > firewall config > use UPnP & apply).

Do the port test & see what result you get.

*If the XP firewall is the only one you have, better to turn it on & configure it for LW than to run without a firewall!!
