mystery firewall
 

I am new to cable modem, no connection due to firewall, norton is configured, windows firewall is off, I used suggestions on this forum, my port works and my net gear wireless router is set up like "sticky " said. I've got LW 10.0.4 Not that great at computer stuff, but had no problem when I first loged on (except only 8-10kbps speed. If anyone has An Idea I'd love it

Do you see a brick wall icon at the bottom of LW next to connection status? Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False?

What is your model number of your Netgear device?

Did you enable UPnP on it?

Who is your ISP (internet service provider)?

I have a net gear wgr 614, the upnp is supposed to be enabled, the bug report stated "false" and I have GForce cable thanks for the help. P.S. I do see the firewall icon and its making me nuts.
