Default Limewire wont even start!!!

I have been using limewire for 2 years now with no problem. I got the mess. for the update and installed it. Later that day lime started to stall on me. I kept restarting it but the same thing happened. So i then uninstalled and reinstalled and now lime wont even start up. I click on it and nothing at all happens! I have tried installing the newest Java and deleting my preferences folder and nothing seems to change. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Its just not the same without Limewire in my life!!!

same as me I use it on Linux. Sorry, I don't have any solutions for you, except that try Frostwire and tell us what happens. Both of them do not run in my case.

Try an older Java...
uninstall all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
