It's most probably a virus. Have you downloaded any files of 851.7 KB?? There's some info here
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=39612

And this thread has more (point 4). There's also a link to norbiesworld... if you can't get rid of the virus then he'll be able to help you out.
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=41432

Please read all of the 2nd thread, it's full of good advice. Always have a good, up to date AV program & scan a file before you open it!!!

LimeWire Restarting after exit

This is most definately not a traditional spyware, malware, or virus problem. This seems to be a new 'feature' in the newest versions of LimeWire and LimeWire Pro. It makes perfect sense if you think about it: it's hard for users to get good search results if the software is not actively running on peoples computers. This new 'feature' would also solve a portion of the freeloader problem: people who only connect to the network to download what they want and then disconnect with out sharing any files. This is a poor choice on LimeWires part. People like choice. They don't like being told what to do. And they most certainly don't like to be forced into doing something such as running software with the inability to stop it. If I where to reclassify this 'feature' I wouldn't call it a feature at all; I'd put it into the spyware/malware catagory.

See WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of! (click on link)

If you were using any earlier version of LW then you'd get more virus results. At least with the recent versions you can filter it out bit by bit using the Junk filter. It takes time since it's a dynamic learning filter but it does work. And it works well once it's properly caliberated. You just need to train it to be so 1st! ;)

Most autogenerated results are easily filtered out using the junk filter, but viruses take much, much longer for it to learn about! ;)

Dear Grandpa
Perhaps you should keep you opinions to yourself. It seems you lack the congative depth to understand what my point was. Maybe you should go back and read my post more slowly. Unfortunately BabelFish does not make a mono-sybolic translator so you may have to study up before you tackle such a challenging read. I'm sure you have plenty of space in your schedule as you seemingly have the time to flame posters in forums. Grow up. Moreover, quoting lame fantasy movies does not make you seem intelligent. You've only proven your un-originality by leaning on the crutch of previously written matterial to convey your hostility. Although, I can understand why you might be upset when others are able to run intellectual circles around you. As you may (or may not) see, flaming is an art the requires elegance and intelligence. Even 5-year-olds can dish out blatant insults. Well, I'd like to stay an chat some more but my schedule is not as liberal. This completes your first lesson in the art of flame. Good day sir.

Being able to use a language well in a rhethorical way, doesn't make your comment smart. Someone who has posted some 2100 times here, selfishless, to help other people , has every right to reply to your dumb statement in the way he did.
