Can't download

Hello,

I have always been able to use Limewire fine and downloads have not been a problem until recently. I had major PC problems so I had an engineer look at it and it was repartitioned (luckily I had my importat stuff backed up). Anyway, windows was reloaded and I had to start from scratch with all packages. Before this I have never had problems with Limewire and as I have broadband, downloading has always been relatively fast. My ISP is TalkTalk and although there are issues surrounding ISPs and Limewire (as stated on this forum), I have never had problems before with TalkTalk and Limewire.

My download speed suddenly dropped and now all downloads run at a speed of 0Kb/s but mostly nothing downloads. I'm not sure if its the firewall settings as many times its blocked or takes a long time to connect but not all the time and the settings seem fine, as they were before. However, when I am connected I can normally search ok and the results are normal as before. My settings are the same as they use to be when it worked fine.

I have tried most solutions which I have found available on this forum but nothing has worked. Please note that I am not a computer wizz so won't understand any technical jargon. Also, I am running Limewire basic. I have always downloaded Limewire from the main site.

Any help would be most appreciated.

No computer jargon just that you 蠢货! lol

Apparently TalkTalk are only filtering p2p programs such as LW at certain times of the day. So to find out which hours they're not filtering, search the word talktalk or talk talk on the forum using the search button above.
