I hve the pro version runing on windows xp, 120G drive and 768 megs of ram, and my internet conection is satellite 512kbps. Can somebody please answer to this thread and tell me why it does that. LimeWire also shows a firewall, but its funny cause I have all my firewalls off.

The firewall might be within your modem/router or satellite device. Check the sections here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

AFAIK Satellite can be unreliable at times due to weather, clouds, sunspots & UV. And some satellite isp's will shape network speeds against p2p users.
