Default connection to second pc

Hi i have been trying to connect via a second pc upstairs i am using AnalogX proxy to connect 2nd pc through main pc down stairs got nortons fire wall which i think is confiuged ok but still no joy any ideas ?can i use a diffrent proxy ?

Why not just network them. I'm not sure what you're trying to do. If you supply more of those type of details then perhaps someone else might have an idea how to help.

Hi they are networked but i still cannot connect lime wire upstairs,upstairs computer is using donstairs pc to connect to internet through a proxy ,can get internet ok on pc upstairs but it wwont connect to limewire any ideas?

Did you go set up a proxy connection in LW's settings? I presume you'd need to do this I don't know. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>Proxies

Also, I'd recommend using different ports for each one to connect & listen through. Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewall
You may need to adjust the computer firewall if it uses a port in its setting.

Try port 64049 for the 2nd computer.

Are you using UPnP or manual port forwarding for your modem/router? If manually port forwarded, then you'll definitely need to use a different port to connect thru. If using UPnP, then port listening should be different if possible.
