cant connect please help
 

Hello
i have been using limewire for over a year and all of a sudden it wont connect at all for the past 2 weeks
its been at starting connection for 2 weeks
i tried the port 6346 test it says your test worked
it also says i have a firewall when my xp and mcaffe firewall is disabled!
i tried changing the proxy and changed the listen on port on every possible number between 45000 and 65530 still nothing worked
so i purchased limewire pro and its still the same
i use optimum online and have a lynksis wrt54g router which always worked with limewire until 2 weeks ago
what should i do?
any help will be appreiciated!

I tried everything even shutting down my firewall and connecting via my cable modem still not working. I can do a search but cannot download. I think it has simething to do with optimum online.

Since I have a laptop I will go to a frinds house and try Limewire to see if it is my settings or optimum online
