OH GOD, Limewire won't stop restarting every 10 seconds!
 

OK, now.. the main problem for me is, limewire keeps coming up and restarting after i shut it down.. every ten seconds it comes up!!! and seriously i hate it!!

now,.. i tried defualting the settings in tools>options> restore defaults.. that didnt work

i tried uninstalling limewire and installing it again, that didnt work..

i tried scanning the computer with norton, and it found nothing (the same day limewire started popping up every ten second, which is today) did that least 5 times..

i tried restarting my computer 2 times,.. that didnt work..

now to seriously tell you ITS MAKING ME UNINSTALL LIMEWIRE FOREVER AND NEVER USE IT AGAIN.. sorry just so angry.. but i lovbe limewire and its so helpful and god i hate it doing this all the time and im begging for anyone to please, please i begg you help me tell me what to do to stop it coming up every ten second after shutting limewire down..

i kind of think its a virus or worm but im not really untirely sure..
i was thinking to go down to my local computer service shop and ask them to help me or reinstall windows and everything for 30 bucks... except i dont have that much money to just throw away.. =(( please god help m someone please!!! :(

How about running first a virus scan before throwing LW in the dustbin. I've read here somewhere about that problem; lets see, I may find the thread here.

Oops, just read that you have run a scan, with Norten, well you might consider a try with AVG, which is free and a link to get it is in one of the threads I've posted. Good luck pal!!
