 The way to uninstall LW is not using the Add/Remove control panel!!! If you want to simply uninstall it, you would go to Start menu -> Programs -> LimeWire -> Uninstall. But if you re-install, it will remove the previous version at the beginning of the installation process. So I'd suggest you re-boot your computer so that any of LW's activities are stopped. Then try reinstalling.  |
