Limewires stops / throws itself out after between 5 and 30 minutes

Connection wise I have no problems with download speeds up to 350 KB/s sometimes. But then suddenly, even though I have no other programs open except maybe internet, it suddenly stops and I have to restart it (ALT/CTR/DEL also shows that it is not running)
Has anyone ever experienced this and what was the cause ???

To suddenly behave in the manner suggested suggests something is extremely wrong. If I'm wrong & it's not a virus at fault, then it is most likely either Java version of preferences are corrupt. You could follow steps here Fixes for Limewire If you change compatibility mode, try either win 2k or NT.
